About

About Dr Tim Jones

Since the mid 1980s, I’ve worked in university and industrial research, as a manager and editor in technology and environment for an international industry association, and held various technical, commercial, and strategy posts in industry.  In 2008 I left corporate life to focus full-time on my passion for science, technology, and science communication.

My general science blog is at Zoonomian.com.   This site – Darkroommatter – is more a focus for my astronomy and astrophotography interests, the latter getting a boost in 2014 when my wife Erin and I moved to the relative darkness of the beautiful  Malvern Hills.
